The Theodore Jones/Second Baptist Partnership is an opportunity for our Family to help reach teachers, children, and families for Christ. The plan is to develop an ongoing relationship with teachers and families so that we help meet immediate and long term needs for the purpose of showing the love of Christ.

Our partnership exists in two forms; projects and services.

Projects: A one time event for the purpose of improvement or beautification of the school grounds or helping with one of the school’s regularly planned events. We expect there will be 3 or 4 projects each year. The kick-off project is Sharefest, October 27th from 9am til Noon.
Services: A one time or ongoing opportunity that is more personal in nature.

The following is a list of possible services:

• Listening to children read
• Monitoring recess
• Listening to math drills
• Making cookies for teacher’s lounge
• Visiting the lunch room
• Attending field trips as a sponsor

Our end goal is:

• To have people on the campus of Theodore Jones every week, developing relationships so that we can share the love of Jesus Christ in very real and
  tangible ways.
• To have Small Groups praying weekly for every teacher and staff member of Theodore Jones Elementary.
